The Order of the Golden Dawn, in the Outer, preserves and transmits the systematic Hermetic curriculum established in the tradition of the 1888 order — grade by grade, from Neophyte to Philosophus.
Our Temple
Named for the heart and word of Ptah the Architect, our temple holds a distinctive Egyptian theological identity grounded in the Memphite theology of the Shabaka Stone.

The Name of the Temple
Sia. Hu. Ptah.
Heart. Word. Architect.
In the Memphite theology of ancient Egypt, Ptah the Great Architect creates the universe not through physical act but through the perfect union of heart and tongue — divine intelligence conceived, divine word spoken, the cosmos arising from their concord.
Sia is the heart of Ptah: divine perception, the mind that conceives all that is. Hu is the tongue of Ptah: authoritative utterance, the word that manifests what the heart devises. In Ptah, both proceed from one transcendent source.
